A rustic sculptural vase, hand-built using a course beige clay. Finger impressions and tool marks on the clay body have been left, so that the finished piece has a primitive and organic feel. This is enhanced by the use of a groggy, highly textured clay. The glaze, which has been irregularly poured over the vase in layers, intentionally leaves parts of the body exposed.
